Applying all our know-how to a new field!

Our group has expertise in low-temperature cryogenics, detectors, and superconducting readouts. In fact, the same type of systems that are used in our rare event searches are applicable to superconducting qubits. In partnership with Fermilab, we are part of the Quantum Science Center and are running qubit experiments in our underground NEXUS facility to study the effects of radiation and shielding on qubit performance.
